The Measure Of A Man:How To Guarantee A Perfect FitCock Rings

To fit properly, a cock ring should be loose enough to get on and off with a minimum of effort, but a bit snug to work its magic once the blood starts pumping.

To measure yourself for a cock ring, take a string and slip it behind your balls and tug it up around the top of your penis (where it meets your body). Mark the string on both sides where it comes together at snugness that’s comfortable for you. Remove the string and measure between the marks. This measurement will give you your circumference, now take your circumference measurement and divide by pi (3.14). This measurement will give you your diameter or ring size.

Conversion Table

CircumferenceDiameter (ring size)
5.5″1 3/4″
5.89″1 7/8″
6.28″2″
6.67″2 1/8″

Glans Rings

Glans rings (also known as head rings) are a bit trickier to measure.    Unlike a cock ring, which is held in place by the scrotum, the glans ring is held in place just by the corona of the penis head.  To fit properly, the glans ring should be loose enough to allow your penis to expand when erect, yet small enough to not slip past the corona when you are flaccid.

Most men prefer the ring a little tight when they are hard.  (You won’t do any damage here if it is a bit snug.)  When using lube the glans head can easily slip up and off the head of your dick.  (Don’t worry though; it’s easy to slide it back on again.)

To measure yourself for a glans ring, take a string and wrap it around the shaft of your penis—just below the head.  Mark the string on both sides where it comes together. (Measure when you are both flaccid and erect.) Remove the string and measure between the marks. These measurements will give you your circumference (both hard and soft).  All men are created uniquely; however, we have found that there is generally a difference between the two measurements of anywhere from ½” to one inch.

You will also want to measure around the widest part of the head of your penis.  (Make sure that you do not get a ring that is wider than this measurement.)

To clarify, measure the following:

  1. Measure your shaft just below the head of your penis when you are flaccid (soft).
  2. Measure your shaft just below the head of your penis when you are erect (hard).
  3. Measure your corona (the widest part of the head of your penis) when you are flaccid (soft).
  4. Measure your corona (the widest part of the head of your penis) when you are erect (hard).

The goal is for the ring to stay on when you are flaccid (this is accomplished by the head of your dick stopping it from taking a slide) and yet not get too tight on your shaft when you are erect.

Now take your circumference measurements and divide by pi (3.14). These measurements will give you your diameter or ring size for when you are soft, hard and your corona.  Select the largest ring that will NOT slide over your penis head.

Conversion Table

CircumferenceDiameter   (ring size)
  3.125″  1″
  3.5″  1 1/8″
  3.7″  1 3/16″
  3.9″  1 1/4″
  4.1″  1 5/16″

If you will pardon the expression, you do have some wiggle room.  If you are concerned about fit, go to the next smallest size—the area beneath the head of your penis has a great deal of give to it.  (When in doubt, go a bit snugger.)  If these directions leave you completely confused, please feel free to e-mail us with questions and we will happily assist you.

Ball Weights / Ball Stretchers

To measure yourself for a ball weight, the same technique for measuring cock rings is used again – with the exception that we don’t measure at the base of the penis. The point for measurement is below the testicles (where the base of your penis meets your pubic area). You will need to pull the testicles away from the body and measure the circumference. Once you convert the circumference measurement by dividing it by 3.14 you will know what size ball weight you will need.

The inside diameter: it is best to allow a little extra on this (but not so much that the ball stretcher falls off).

The Band Width: We recommend that first-time users go with the narrowest band width until they are familiar with wearing a weight. An exception to this would be if you already have low-hanging testicles.  Remember that your ball sac has to fit within the ‘tunnel’ created by the interior of the ball stretcher.  With time this will lengthen allowing you to graduate to a larger size.   Our widths are  1/2″ (8 oz.), 1″ (16 oz.), 1 1/2″ (24 oz.) and 2″(32 oz.).
